About
Ignition Scientific builds tools and advises on translating large molecular datasets into diagnostics and therapeutics. We work in population multi-omics, diagnostic translation, and precision medicine, partnering with academic labs, technology providers, and biotech companies to move discoveries from early data toward real clinical tests. Ignition was founded by Chris Whelan, Ph.D. - co-founder and former lead of the UK Biobank Pharma Proteomics Project - and brings the translational infrastructure, IP strategy, and delivery needed to take discoveries from the lab toward clinical use.
